My story · Scotty Crandlemire
AngelAire grew out of Scotty’s difficult experience honoring a friend’s final wishes. Scattering by hand left ashes in clumps around his feet and in his shoes, rather than creating the farewell he had imagined.
A pilot, Scotty pursued a better solution: a fan-assisted urn that releases cremated remains in a controlled cloud. His goal was to give families a more dignified, peaceful moment together.
Today, he is offering a new owner the opportunity to carry that idea forward.

The invention
Cremated remains spreading device

Market context
Figures from the Cremation Association of North America (CANA), published with its 2026 statistics summary.
CANA reports cremation accounted for 62.8% of U.S. deaths in 2025.
CANA projects the U.S. cremation rate will reach 69.1% by 2030.
CANA’s 2026 summary lists 1,950,592 U.S. cremations for 2025.

The trend provides a setting for a buyer to explore funeral-home partnerships, product sales and rental programs. These are potential channels to assess, rather than existing contracted revenue.
